The MD2A Adapter is a compact, Plug & Play adapter that allows you to use a classic SEGA Mega Drive / Genesis 3-button gamepad with a wide range of retro computers and consoles.
Perfect for retro gaming, the MD2A lets you enjoy your favourite Mega Drive / Genesis controller on classic systems including Commodore Amiga, Amiga CD32, Commodore 64, Atari ST and Atari 8-bit computers.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: The MD2A is designed for SEGA Mega Drive / Genesis 3-button controllers ONLY.
Do not use 6-button Mega Drive controllers or other types of gamepads unless specifically confirmed as compatible.
Button Mapping
The MD2A provides convenient button mapping for compatible games:
- B – Main Fire Button
- C – Up / Jump – particularly useful for platform games
- A – Secondary Fire – supported by some games, including Turrican
- Start – Autofire ON / OFF
Autofire Function
The Start button activates and deactivates autofire, making the MD2A particularly useful for games where rapid firing is required.

The MD2A is super compact and easy to use. Simply connect the adapter to the joystick/controller port of your compatible retro computer or console and connect your compatible SEGA Mega Drive / Genesis 3-button controller.
